Canada
American Travel Center is a specialist for holidays in Canada. This vast country extends from the Atlantic in the east to the Pacific in the west, and covers five time zones.

The favorite destination in Canada for European visitors is the west, specifically the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. They are drawn here by the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Canadian Rockies. Another big attraction for tourists in the west is Vancouver Island (whale watching).

Eastern Canada does not have the soaring mountain peaks of the Rockies, but offers instead vast stands of forests, lakes, quaint Atlantic fishing villages and cosmopolitan cities like Toronto, Montreal (mainly French speaking) and Quebec.

The biggest single attraction in eastern Canada is Niagara Falls. The two sides of Canada offer very different holiday experiences, but it is quite easy to combine the two. It is also easy to combine a holiday to Canada with some time in the United States. For example, our self-driving tours through the Canadian Rockies includes attractions and national parks in neighbouring Washington State, Idaho and Montana.

Touring Canada by campervan is very popular, especially for families. The facilities for campers are excellent, but do be prepared for some long distances and driving times!

American Travel Center can design a self-drive vacation in any part of Canada, including a combination with the US if you wish.
